“One of the biggest challenges on this production is managing the amount of daylight that is outside the studio. We have a selection of blinds with various grades of Neutral density filters in them that are installed in front of each window that we use to control how bright it looks outside. We choose the strength of the ND before the transmission and we then have a number of occasions during the transmission to make changes if necessary. If the weather during the live transmission is constant – its not too bad, but if the sun keeps coming in and out it can be quite entertaining to say the least!”
If you need an experienced Studio Lighting director to manage the lighting for your live transmission – call Andy on 07976 157704.
